Increase in black student numbers

The number of UK black undergraduate students starting at the University of Cambridge this term has risen significantly from last year. A total of 91 black students have been admitted, up from 61 in the 2018/19 academic year…a rise of almost 50%.

University primary school "outstanding" in 1st OFSTED report

The University of Cambridge Primary School is celebrating after receiving its first OFSTED report. Inspectors found the school outstanding in all the performance categories. The school, which has been open for three years at Eddington, on the edge of Cambridge, is the first University Training Primary School in the UK.

Cambridge's 2017 admissions statistics published

Figures released by the University of Cambridge show another rise in the number of state-educated Home students being accepted on to a course of study. The number, for the 2017 admissions cycle, has increased to 64.1% (up from 62.5% in the 2016 cycle). This is the highest level since comparable records began more than 30 years ago.
