Professor Michael Green, FRS, Lucasian Professor of Mathematics, has been awarded one of the three 2014 Frontiers Prizes for Fundamental Physics to be shared with John Schwarz, the Harold Brown Professor of Theoretical Physics at Caltech, USA.
The prize has been awarded in recognition of the new perspectives they have brought to quantum gravity and the unification of the fundamental physical forces of the universe. The prize comes with eligibility for the $3 million 2014 Fundamental Physics Prize.
