The Co-founder of Ryanair, Kell Ryan, spoke to over 400 people at the latest Enterprise Tuesday session held at the University of Cambridge yesterday.
Having gained experience working for more than 30 years in the airline industry, first for the Irish national airline Aer Lingus and then Ryanair, he spoke about the impact of understanding and fulfilling customer’s needs on business success.
Kell headed the major and crucial transfer of Ryanair to Stansted and has spent a number of years primarily promoting and marketing Ryanair within Europe.
His insights into the success behind Ryanair and the importance of good customer service, training, marketing, sales, operations, and media communications were invaluable to the aspiring entrepreneurs in the audience.
Enterprise Tuesday is a free evening programme open to the local business community, all staff and students.
The evening sessions introduce participants to the world of business and aims to inspire individuals to pursue their entrepreneurial ambitions.
Sanjeev Bikhchandani, co-founder and CEO of InfoEdge, the leading provider of online recruitment, matrimonial, real estate and educational classifieds and related services in India will be the guest speaker at the next session, on Tuesday 3rd November.
Sanjeev will be talking on the subject of ‘Rapid Growth Business’ and will speak of his experiences whilst building his multi-million pound business from scratch.
Enterprise Tuesday is organised by the Centre for Entrepreneurial Learning (CfEL), part of The Judge Business School, and is the most popular non-assessed programme within the University.
