Last month, winning individual gold at the World University Equestrian Championships was something that sixty riders from across the World were dreaming of. This month, it has become reality for Cambridge University vet student Natalie McGoldrick.
Last month, winning individual gold at the World University Equestrian Championships was something that sixty riders from across the World were dreaming of. This month, it has become reality for Cambridge University vet student Natalie McGoldrick.
McGoldrick was chosen back in September, along with two other student riders, to represent Great Britain at the University Championships, which were held at the Japan Racing Association National Park, in Tokyo, from 2-5 December. Held every two years, this was the first time in the Game’s 12-year history that a British rider has won an individual overall medal.
