And many of The Swan Theatre Company cast will put into practise verse-speaking skills garnered under the tutelage of former Downing College student Sir Trevor Nunn.
Sir Trevor, former director of both the Royal Shakespeare Company and the Royal National Theatre, directed many of The Swan's Romeo and Juliet cast for the Marlowe Society's Centenary Production last year.
Several of the actors in the current cast have been signed by professional agents as a result of the October production, and Romeo and Juliet will further showcase their skills. Lizzie Crarer, who plays Juliet, was snapped up in October by Tavistock Wood, who represent Eva, Green, Will Young and Sam Riley amongst others.
Producer Ollie Jordan said: “The production is looking absolutely brilliant in rehearsal, and I hope will prove a springboard for the careers of the many promising actors involved.”
Romeo and Juliet runs at the ADC Theatre, in Park Street, Cambridge, from February 26-March 1.
