Eve Poole

Dr Eve Poole, of Newnham College, will preach the University Sermon in Great St Mary's, the University Church, on Sunday 14 October, at 11.15 a.m.

Eve Poole is an Associate of the Ashridge Business School, where she has spent the last decade teaching and researching leadership and public service.

She is also a founding director of the Foundation for Workplace Spirituality, and a trustee of the Foundation for Church Leadership.

A first degree in Theology at the University of Durham was later followed by an MBA at Edinburgh.

She undertook her doctoral work as a graduate student at Newnham College, writing on capitalism and theology and seeking to identify ways in which spirituality can breathe new life into the world's economies.

Dr Poole has worked for the Church Commissioners and been a Change Management Consultant with Deloitte Consulting.

She has published two books: The Church on Capitalism (2010), and Ethical Leadership (2010).

All are welcome. After the Sermon there will be a wine-reception at Michaelhouse for those attending.

Members of the University of Cambridge should wear their gowns at the Sermon.
