The Law Faculty Building combines steel and glass with Portland stone.
The striking four-storey building was completed in 1995 to house the Faculty of Law and the Squire Law Library. Constructed around a glass atrium, the design makes the most of natural lighting and ventilation. It was designed by Foster and Partners, who have a web-page devoted to the project.
The building will be open from 10am until 2pm and members of the design team will be giving talks and tours of the building on the hour at 10am, 11am and 1pm.
The Law Faculty is situated at the heart of the University's Sidgwick site, off West Road.
