Cambridge Enterprise will be holding their second Investors' Forum at New Hall on November 16.

The half-day event, sponsored by PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, kicks off at 09.00 and will showcase some of the best of University of Cambridge originated companies.

Ten companies representing a wide range of technologies will make short presentations on their funding opportunities to an assembled audience of potential investors. The companies will be seeking varying stages of funding from early stage seed funding and upwards, and will cover such areas as life sciences, biomaterials, energy storage, and communications. Networking sessions allow the potential investors to meet the founders and find out more about the technology and business proposition.

The Forum will be of interest to Venture Capitalists, Angels, Corporate Venture Funds and Investment Banks.

Dr Peter Luebcke, Business Creation Manager, Cambridge Enterprise said: "The event is an excellent opportunity for several reasons; our start-ups engage with serious investors hopefully leading to investment, the University of Cambridge showcases some of its entrepreneurial creativity and finally it succeeds very well as a networking event for all concerned."

This event is for registered delegates only and will take place at New Hall, on Huntingdon Road, Cambridge.
