Cambridge Judge Business School was delighted to welcome His Excellency Ambassador Liu Xiaoming, Chinese Ambassador to the UK this week.

On his first visit to Cambridge as Ambassador, he came to the School to talk to students as part of the MBA Leadership Seminar Series.

Ambassador Liu was accompanied on his visit to the School by the Vice-Chancellor Professor Sir Leszek Borysiewicz (pictured right).

Ambassador Liu’s speech, entitled “The Road to Success and Comprehensive Development” He spoke to MBA students on the successful story of China's development, leading to it being named last week as the world’s second largest economy. He predicted how long it would be before China overtakes the US and speculated on whether China can sustain its fast growth after 3 decades and what China's development will mean for the world?
