Cambridge won the 150th Boat Race on Sunday, March 28, the first time the crew has won in three years. The match was considered close from the beginning, with many experts believing this year would match the 2003 race as a very close finish.

Oxford took the initial lead, but four minutes into the race, just before the Fulham wall, oars clashed and the Oxford bow Chris Kennelly briefly lost his seat.

The Cambridge team won by 6 lengths in a time of 18 minutes 47 seconds, leaving the overall score at 78-71 to Cambridge, with one dead heat.

Cambridge holds the longest winning streak in Boat Race history, winning 13 consecutive races, from 1924 to 1936.
